성숙한 그리스도인

신앙생활을 오래 했다고 다 성숙한 그리스도인은 아닙니다. 또 성경을 많이 안다고 다 성숙한 그리스도인도 아닙니다.

 

물론 성경을 통해 주님을 알아갈 수 있고 그래야 성숙해집니다. 그러나 소화되지 않은 지식은 우쭐대게 합니다.(고전8:1) 

입에는 달지만 배에는 쓴 것이 하나님의 말씀입니다.(계10:9) 먹은 음식이 소화되고 흡수되어 우리 몸의 일부가 될 때 건강하게 자랄 수 있습니다. 다음 사항을 스스로 점검해 보세요

 

1. 자신이 누구인지 알고 계신지요?
① 딤전1:15
15이것은 신실한 말이요 온전히 받아들이기에 합당한 말이니 곧 그리스도 예수님께서 죄인들을 구원하시려고 세상에 오셨다는 말이로다. 죄인들 중에 내가 우두머리니라.
15This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

 

② 창18:27
27아브라함이 응답하여 이르되, 이제 보소서, 티끌과 재 같은 내가 감히 [주]께 아뢰나이다.
27And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which [am but] dust and ashes:

 

③ 시39:5
5보소서, 주께서 내 날들을 한 뼘만큼 되게 하셨사오니 내 시대가 주 앞에는 없는 것 같사오며 참으로 모든 사람은 최선의 상태에서도 전적으로 헛될 뿐이니이다. 셀라.
5Behold, thou hast made my days [as] an handbreadth; and mine age [is] as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state [is] altogether vanity. Selah.

 

④ 시8:4
4사람이 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 생각 속에 깊이 두시나이까? 사람의 아들이 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 찾아오시나이까?
4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
 

2. 어린아이의 일을 버렸는지요?
①  고전3:1-4
1형제들아, 내가 영에 속한 자에게 말하는 것 같이 너희에게 할 수 없어서 육신에 속한 자 곧 그리스도 안에 있는 갓난아이들에게 말하는 것 같이 하였노라.
1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in Christ.
2내가 너희를 젖으로 먹이고 음식으로 하지 아니하였나니 이는 지금까지 너희가 그것을 능히 감당하지 못하였으며 지금도 능히 못하기 때문이라.
2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able.
3너희가 아직도 육신에 속하였도다. 너희 가운데 시기와 다툼과 분열이 있으니 너희가 육신에 속하여 사람들처럼 걷지 아니하느냐?
3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
4어떤 이는 말하기를, 나는 바울에게 속하였다, 하고 다른 이는 말하기를, 나는 아볼로에게 속하였다, 하나니 너희가 육신에 속하지 아니하였느냐?
4For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I [am] of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

 

② 고전13:11
11내가 아이였을 때에는 아이처럼 말하고 아이처럼 깨달으며 아이처럼 생각하였으나 어른이 되어서는 아이의 일들을 버렸노라.
11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

 

③ 히5:11-14 
11멜기세덱에 관하여는 우리가 말할 것이 많으나 너희가 듣는 것이 둔하므로 말하기 어려우니라.
11Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12시간으로 보건대 너희가 마땅히 가르치는 자가 되었어야 할 터이나 [하나님]의 말씀들의 첫째 기초 원리들을 남에게 다시 가르침을 받아야 할 필요가 너희에게 있나니 너희가 단단한 음식이 아니라 젖을 필요로 하는 자가 되었도다.
12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13젖을 사용하는 자마다 갓난아이이므로 의의 말씀에 능숙하지 못하니라.
13For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14그러나 단단한 음식은 장성한 자들에게 속하나니 그들은 그것을 사용하여 자기 감각들을 단련시킴으로 선악을 분별하느니라.
14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

3. 모든 봉사를 자발적으로, 적극적으로 하시는지요?
①  골3:23
23또 너희가 무슨 일을 하든지 마음을 다해 [주]께 하듯 하고 사람들에게 하듯 하지 말라.
23And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

②  고후9:6, 7
6다만 내가 말하려는 바는 이것이니 곧 인색하게 뿌리는 자는 또한 인색하게 거둘 것이요, 풍성하게 뿌리는 자는 또한 풍성하게 거두리라는 것이라.
6But this [I say], He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7저마다 자기 마음속에 정한 대로 낼 것이요, 마지못해 하거나 억지로 하지 말지니 [하나님]은 즐거이 내는 자를 사랑하시느니라.
7Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

 

③  레1:3
1{주}께서 모세를 부르시고 회중의 성막에서 그에게 말씀하여 이르시되,
1And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
2이스라엘 자손에게 말하고 그들에게 이르라. 너희 중에 누가 {주}께 헌물을 가져오려거든 너희는 가축에서 곧 소 떼나 양과 염소 떼에서 너희 헌물을 가져올지니라.
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, [even] of the herd, and of the flock.
3만일 그의 헌물이 소 떼의 태우는 희생물이면 그는 흠 없는 수컷으로 드리되 자원하여 자기 의지대로 회중의 성막 문에서 {주} 앞에 그것을 드릴 것이요,
3If his offering [be] a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

 

4. 받는 것보다 주는 것에 더 행복해하시는지요?
①  행20:35
35내가 너희에게 모든 것을 보여 주되 곧 너희가 마땅히 이렇게 수고하여 약한 자들을 지원하고 또 [주] 예수님께서 말씀하신 것 즉, 주는 것이 받는 것보다 더 복되도다, 하신 그분의 말씀을 기억하게 하였느니라.
35I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

 

②  호4:18
18그들의 마시는 것이 시게 되었느니라. 그들이 계속해서 행음하며 그녀의 치리자들은 수치스럽게도, 너희는 돈을 내라, 하고 말하기를 좋아하는도다.
18Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers [with] shame do love, Give ye.

5. 부당한 고난을 하나님을 의식함으로 참으시는지요?
①  벧전2:18~21
18종들아, 모든 두려움으로 너희 주인들에게 복종하되 선하고 부드러운 자들에게뿐만 아니라 까다로운 자들에게도 그리하라.
18Servants, [be] subject to [your] masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
19사람이 부당한 일을 당하고도 [하나님]을 의식함으로 고통을 견디면 이것은 감사할 일이나
19For this [is] thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
20너희가 너희 잘못으로 인하여 매를 맞고 참으면 그것이 무슨 영광이냐? 그러나 너희가 잘 행하고도 그것으로 인해 고난을 당하고 끈기 있게 그것을 견디면 이것은 [하나님]께서 받으실 만한 것이니라.
20For what glory [is it], if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer [for it], ye take it patiently, this [is] acceptable with God.
21참으로 너희가 심지어 그 일을 위해 부르심을 받았나니 그리스도께서도 우리를 위해 고난을 당하심으로 우리에게 본을 남기사 너희가 자신의 발자취를 따라오게 하셨느니라.
21For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

6. 남을 더 낫게 여기고 남의 일을 돌아보십니까? 
①  빌2:3, 4
3어떤 일도 다툼이나 헛된 영광으로 하지 말고 오직 겸손한 생각으로 각각 자기보다 남을 더 낫게 여기며
3[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4각 사람이 자기 일들만 돌아보지 말고 각 사람이 남의 일들도 돌아보라.
4Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

 

②  갈6:2
2너희는 서로 남의 짐들을 지라. 그리하여 그리스도의 법을 성취하라.
2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

 

7. 나의 나 된 것이 하나님의 은혜임을 인정하시는지요?
①  고전15:10
10[하나님]의 은혜로 내가 지금의 내가 되었으니 내게 베푸신 그분의 은혜가 헛되지 아니하여 내가 그들 모두보다 더 많이 수고하였으나 내가 아니요, 오직 나와 함께하신 [하나님]의 은혜로다.
10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which [was bestowed] upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

 

②  갈6:2 
2너희는 서로 남의 짐들을 지라. 그리하여 그리스도의 법을 성취하라.
2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

 아직은 그렇지 못하더라도 주님께서는 우리를 성장시켜 이런 사람을 만드시는 것이 목표임을 잊지 마세요 

빌1:6
6너희 안에서 선한 일을 시작하신 분께서 예수 그리스도의 날까지 그 일을 이루실 것 바로 이것을 나는 확신하노라.
6Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:
