우리(신약지역교회)는 왜 모이는가?

42 그리고 그들이 확고하게 사도들의 교리와 교제 안에 계속 있으며 빵을 찢는 일과 기도들을 지속하였더라.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

 

오순절로부터 시작된 신약교회가 모여 무엇을 했는지(모임의 이유 혹은 목적)를 다시 한 번 성경을 통해 확인해보려고 합니다. 우리의 모임이 확실한 목적 의식을 갖고 모이는 모임이 되기 바랍니다.

 

1.    진리(교리)를 배우기 위해

①    요18:37
37 그러므로 빌라도가 그분께 말하기를, “그렇다면 네가 왕이냐?” 하였더라. 예수님께서 대답하시기를, “내가 왕임을 네가 말하는도다. 이런 취지로 내가 태어났으며 이러한 까닭에 내가 세상 속으로 왔노라. 이로써 내가 진리를 증거하려 함이라. 진리에 속한 모든 자마다 나의 음성을 듣는도다.” 하셨느니라.

37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

 

②    딤전3:15 
15 다만 내가 오래 지체한다면 이는 네가 하나님의 집에서 스스로 어떻게 처신해야 마땅한지 너로 하여금 알게 하려 함이라. 이 집은 살아 계신 하나님의 교회이자 진리의 기둥과 터전이라.

15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

 

③    딤전2:4
4 그분께서는 모든 사람들을 구원받게 하기를 원하시고, 또 진리의 지식에 이르게 하기를 원하시느니라.

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

 

④    행11:26
26 그리고 그가 그를 발견하였을 때 그가 그를 안티오크로 데려왔더라. 그러자 이러한 일이 있었으니, 일 년 내내 그들이 스스로 교회와 더불어 모였고 많은 이들을 가르쳤더라. 그리하여 제자들이 안티오크에서 처음으로 그리스도인들이라고 불렸더라.

26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

 

⑤    사28:9
9 ¶ 그분께서 누구에게 지식을 가르치시겠느냐? 또 그분께서 누구에게 교리를 이해시키시겠느냐? 젖을 떼고 젖가슴에서 물러난 자들에게니라.

9 ¶ Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

 

⑥    엡4:11-15
11 그리고 그분께서는 어떤 이들을 사도들로, 또 어떤 이들을 예언자들로, 또 어떤 이들을 복음 전도자들로, 또 어떤 이들을 목양자들, 곧 선생들로 주셨으니,

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 성도들을 완전하게 하려 하심이요, 사역의 일을 하게 하려 하심이요, 그리스도의 몸을 세우게 하려 하심이요,

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 마침내 우리 모두가 믿음의 일치와 하나님의 아들의 지식의 일치에 도달하여, 하나의 완전한 사람에 이르게 하고 그리스도의 충만하심의 장성한 분량에까지 이르게 하려 하심이요,

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 우리로 하여금 앞으로는 더 이상 아이들이 되지 않고, 사람들의 교묘한 속임수로 인하여, 또 속이려고 엎드려 기다리는 자들의 교활한 꾀로 인하여, 이리저리 흔들려 온갖 교리의 풍조에 밀려다니지 아니하며,

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 오직 사랑 안에서 진리를 말하고, 모든 일들 가운데 그분 안으로 성장하게 하려 하심이라. 그분은 머리시니, 곧 그리스도시라.

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

 

2.    영과 진리로 경배하기 위해

①    요4:23, 24
23 그러나 참된 경배자들이 영과 진리 안에서 아버지께 경배할 때인 그 시각이 오나니, 곧 지금이라. 이는 아버지께서 자신에게 경배하는 그러한 자들을 찾으시기 때문이라.

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 

 

②    마15:8, 9
8 ‘이 백성이 그들의 입으로는 나에게 가까이 다가오며 그들의 입술로는 나를 공경하느니라. 그러나 그들의 마음은 나에게서 멀리 있도다.

8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 그러나 그들은 사람들의 명령들을 교리들로 가르치면서 나를 헛되이 경배하는도다.’ 한 것이라.”

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

 

③    벧전2:4, 5
4 정녕 사람들에게는 배척받았으나 하나님께는 선택받은 보배롭고 살아 있는 돌이신 그분께 나아오나니,

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

5 너희 역시 살아 있는 돌들로서, 영적인 집으로 지어지며, 예수 그리스도를 통하여 하나님께 기꺼이 받아들여질 만한 영적인 희생 제물들을 바치는 거룩한 제사장단이 되었느니라.

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

 

④    빌3:3 
3 이는 영 안에서 하나님을 경배하고 그리스도 예수를 크게 기뻐하며 육신에 신뢰를 두지 않는 우리야말로 할례자들이기 때문이라.

3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

 

⑤    계4:10 
10 스물네 장로들이 그 보좌 위에 앉으신 분 앞에 엎드리며 영원무궁토록 사시는 분께 경배하고 그 보좌 앞에 자신들의 왕관들을 던져 드리며 이같이 말씀드렸더라.

10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

 

3.    하나님께 기도하기 위해

①    행4:29~31 
29 그런즉 주여, 이제 그들의 위협들을 보소서. 그리고 당신의 종들이 전적으로 담대하게 당신의 말씀을 전할 수 있도록 그들을 승인하여 주소서.

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 치유를 위하여 당신의 손을 앞으로 뻗으시어 표적들과 이적들이 당신의 거룩하신 아이 예수님의 이름을 통하여 행하여지도록 하소서.”

30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

31 ¶ 그리고 그들이 기도한 후에 그들이 함께 결집한 그 장소가 흔들렸더라. 그러자 그들이 성령님으로 충만하여졌으며 그들은 담대하게 하나님의 말씀을 전하였더라.

31 ¶ And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

 

②    행12:5, 11, 12
5 그러므로 베드로는 감옥에 갇혔으나 그를 위하여 교회의 중단 없는 기도가 하나님께 드려졌더라.

5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

11 그리하여 베드로가 제정신으로 돌아왔을 때 그가 말하기를, “이제야 내가 확실하게 아노라. 주께서 그분의 천사를 보내셨고 헤롯의 손에서 나를 구출하셨으며 유대인들인 백성의 모든 기대에서 나를 구출하셨도다.” 하였더라.

11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

12 그리하여 그가 그 일을 숙고한 후에 그가 마가란 이명으로 불리는 요한의 어머니인 마리아의 집으로 갔으니, 그곳은 많은 이들이 함께 모여 기도하는 곳이었더라.

12 And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

 

③    행13:2, 3
2 그들이 주를 섬기고 금식하는 동안 성령님께서 말씀하시기를, “내가 바나바와 사울을 불러서 시킨 일을 위하여 그들을 나에게 성별시키라.” 하셨느니라.

2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

3 그리하여 그들이 금식하고 기도한 후에 그들의 두 손으로 그들에게 안수하였고 그들이 그들을 멀리 보냈더라.

3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

 

4.    교제하기 위하여(히10:21-25)
21 또한 하나님의 집을 다스리시는 대제사장을 두고 있으니,

21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

22 우리가 믿음의 전적인 확신 가운데 진실한 마음으로 가까이 나아가자. 우리의 마음은 악한 양심으로부터 피 뿌림을 받았으며 우리의 몸은 순수한 물로 씻겨졌느니라.

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 우리가 흔들림 없이 우리 믿음에 관한 고백을 굳게 붙잡자. (이는 약속하신 분께서 신실하시기 때문이라.)

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

24 그런즉 우리가 서로를 배려하여 사랑에 이르도록, 또 선한 행위들을 하도록 격려하자.

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 어떤 이들의 방식처럼 우리 자신들이 함께 집회를 갖는 것을 저버리지 말고 오히려 서로 권면하자. 그런즉 너희가 그날이 다가오는 것을 볼수록 더더욱 그리하자.

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

P.S. 흩어져서 하는 일

 

1. 선한 행실로 하나님께 영광을 돌림

①    엡2:8-10
8 이는 너희가 은혜로 구원받은 것은 믿음을 통한 것이기 때문이니, 이는 너희 자신에게서 난 것이 아니요, 그것은 하나님의 선물이라.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 행위에서 난 것이 아니니, 아무도 자랑하지 못하게 하려 함이라.

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 이는 우리가 그리스도 예수 안에서 선한 행위들을 위하여 창조된 그분의 작품이기 때문이라. 그 행위들은 하나님께서 우리가 그것들 가운데 살아가도록 미리 정하신 것이라.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

 

②    롬14:17-18
17 이는 하나님의 왕국은 먹는 것과 마시는 것이 아니요, 다만 성령님 안에서 의와 화평과 즐거움이기 때문이라.

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18 이는 이런 것들로 그리스도를 섬기는 자는 하나님께 기꺼이 받아들여지며 사람들에게 인정을 받기 때문이라.

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

 

③    마5:14-16
14 너희는 세상의 빛이라. 언덕 위에 세워진 도시가 숨겨질 수 없느니라.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 또한 사람들이 불빛을 밝혀서 그것을 부셸 되4 아래에 두지 아니하고 오히려 등잔대 위에 두나니, 그것이 집 안에 있는 모두에게 빛을 주느니라.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 너희의 빛이 이처럼 사람들 앞에서 비치게 하라. 이는 그들이 너희의 선한 행위들을 보고, 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하려 함이라.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

 

④    행10:38
38 곧 하나님께서 나사렛 예수님께 성령님과 권능으로 기름을 부으셨으며, 그분께서는 선을 행하시고 마귀에게 억압받는 자들 모두를 치유하시며 두루 다니셨다는 것이라. 이는 하나님께서 그분과 함께 하셨기 때문이라.

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

 

2. 증인으로서 말씀을 전파함
①    행1:8 
8 그러나 성령께서 너희에게 임하신 후에는 너희가 권능을 받으리라. 그리하면 너희가 예루살렘에서와 온 유대에서와 사마리아에서와 땅의 맨 끝부분에까지 모두 이르러 나에게 증인들이 되리라.”

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

 

②    행4:19-20
19 그러나 베드로와 요한이 그들에게 대답하여 이같이 말하였더라. “하나님께 경청하는 것보다 너희에게 경청하는 것이 하나님의 목전에 옳은지 너희가 판단하라.

19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

20 이는 우리가 보고 들었던 것들을 우리가 전할 수밖에 없기 때문이라.”

20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
 
③    딤후4:1-4(사55:10, 11)
1 그러므로 내가 하나님 앞에서와 주 예수 그리스도, 곧 그분이 나타나실 때 그리고 그분의 왕국에서 살아 있는 자들과 죽어 있는 자들을 심판하실 분 앞에서 너에게 명하노라.

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 말씀을 선포하라. 시기에 맞든지 시기에 맞지 아니하든지 절박하게 하라. 모든 오래 참음과 교리로 책망하고 꾸짖으며 권면하라.

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 이는 그때가 올 것이기 때문이니, 그들이 건전한 교리를 견디지 못할 때라. 반면에 그들은 귀가 가려워서 자신들의 정욕들에 따라 자신들에게 선생들을 쌓아 두리라.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 그리고 그들은 자신들의 귀를 진리로부터 돌이킬 것이며 지어낸 이야기들로 돌리리라.

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

 

사55:10, 11
10 이는 마치 비와 눈이 하늘로부터 내려와서 거기로 되돌아가지 아니하고 오히려 땅에 물을 주고 그것이 열매를 내게 하고 싹을 틔워서 그것이 씨 뿌리는 자에게는 씨를, 먹는 자에게는 빵을 주는 것같이,

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 나의 입에서 나가는 내 말도 그러하도다. 내 말은 나에게 헛되이 되돌아오지 아니하리라. 오히려 그것은 내가 기뻐하는 것을 이행할 것이요, 내 말은 내가 그것을 그리로 보낸 것 안에서 형통하리라.

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

 

진리침례교회가 신약교회로서 신실한 간증을 지니고 또 지킬 수 있도록 주님께서 은혜 베푸시기를 기도합니다.
