예수 그리스도, 선물을 주시는 분

[본문] 요4:7-10
7 어떤 사마리아 여자가 물을 길으러 오는데 예수님께서 그녀에게 말씀하시기를, “나에게 마실 물을 달라.” 하시니라.

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

8 (이는 그분의 제자들이 음식을 사기 위해 도시로 나갔기 때문이라.)

(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

9 그때 그 사마리아 여자가 그분께 말씀드리기를, “유대인인 당신께서 사마리아 여자인 제게 마실 것을 구하시니, 어찌 된 일이니이까?” 하니라. 이는 유대인들은 사마리아인들을 전혀 상대하지 아니하기 때문이라.

Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

10 예수님께서 그녀에게 대답하여 말씀하시기를, “만일 네가 하나님의 선물을 알았다면, 또 너에게 ‘마실 것을 달라.’라고 말하는 이가 누구인지 알았다면, 너는 그에게 구하였을 것이요, 그는 너에게 살아 있는 물을 주었으리라.” 하셨느니라.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

 

7월 첫째 주 오늘 우리는 주님께서 우리 각자에게 이미 주신 놀라운 선물들이 무엇인지 요한복음을 통해 살펴봄으로써 선물을 주시는 분이신 예수님을 기억하고자 합니다.

 

1. 살아있는 물(living water)

요4:10
10 예수님께서 그녀에게 대답하여 말씀하시기를, “만일 네가 하나님의 선물을 알았다면, 또 너에게 ‘마실 것을 달라.’라고 말하는 이가 누구인지 알았다면, 너는 그에게 구하였을 것이요, 그는 너에게 살아 있는 물을 주었으리라.” 하셨느니라.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

 

렘2:13
13 이는 나의 백성이 두 가지 악을 저질렀기 때문이니, 그들이 살아 있는 물들의 원천인 나를 저버린 것이요, 자신들에게 저수조들을 파 둔 것이니, 깨져서 물을 전혀 저장할 수 없는 저수조들이라.

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

 

렘17:13
13 오, 주여, 이스라엘의 소망이여, 당신을 저버리는 모든 자들은 부끄러워할 것이요, 저에게서 떠나는 자들은 땅에 기록되리이다. 이는 그들이 살아 있는 물들의 원천이신 주를 저버린 까닭이니이다.

O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

요7:38
38 나를 믿는 자는 성경 기록이 말씀하셨듯이 그의 배에서 살아 있는 물의 강들이 흐르리라.”

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

 

2. 살(flesh)

요6:48-51
48 나는 그 생명의 빵이라.

I am that bread of life.

49 너희 조상들은 광야 가운데서 만나를 먹었고 또 죽었느니라.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

50 이것은 하늘로부터 내려오는 빵이니, 사람이 그것을 먹고 죽지 않게 하려 함이라.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

51 나는 하늘로부터 내려온 살아 있는 빵이라. 누구든 이 빵을 먹는다면 그는 영원토록 살리라. 그리고 내가 줄 빵은 나의 살이요, 나는 세상의 생명을 위하여 그것을 주겠노라.”

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

히10:10-14
10 그 뜻에 의하여 예수 그리스도의 몸이 한 번에 완전하게 드려짐을 통해 우리가 성결하게 구별되는도다.

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 그리고 제사장마다 매일 서서 섬기며 동일한 희생 제물들을 자주 바치지만, 그것들은 죄들을 결코 제거할 수 없느니라.

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 그러나 이 사람은, 죄들로 인한 하나의 희생 제물을 친히 영원토록 바치신 뒤에 하나님의 오른편에 앉으셨느니라.

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13 이때부터는 그분의 원수들이 그분의 발등상이 될 때까지 기다리고 계시느니라.

From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 이는 그분께서 성결하게 구별된 자들을 하나의 제물로 영원토록 완전하게 하셨기 때문이라.

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

롬12:1
1 그러므로 형제들아, 내가 하나님의 자비들로 인하여 너희에게 간청하노니, 너희는 너희의 몸을 거룩하고 하나님께서 기꺼이 받으실 만한 살아 있는 희생 제물로 드리라. 이것이 너희의 합당한 섬김이라.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

3. 생명(life)

요10:11
11 나는 그 선한 목자라. 선한 목자는 양들을 위하여 자신의 생명을 주느니라.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

 

사53:12
12 그러므로 내가 그에게 위대한 자들과 함께 몫을 나누어 주겠으니, 그가 약탈물을 강한 자들과 함께 나누리라. 이는 그가 자신의 혼을 쏟아부어 죽음에 이른 까닭이라. 그런즉 그가 불법자들과 함께 계수되었도다. 그리고 그는 많은 이들의 죄를 담당하였고 불법자들을 위하여 중보하였도다.

Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

행2:31
31 그가 이것을 미리 보고 그리스도의 부활에 관하여 전하였으니, 곧 그의 혼이 지옥에 버려지지 아니하였고, 그의 육체도 부패함을 보지 아니하였다는 것이라.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

 

4. 영원한 생명(eternal life, everlasting life)

요10:28
28 그리고 나는 그들에게 영생을 주노라. 그런즉 그들은 결코 멸망하지 아니할 것이요, 아무도 나의 손에서 그들을 빼앗아 내지 못할 것이라.

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

 

요3:16
16 ¶ 이는 하나님께서 세상을 이처럼 사랑하셨기 때문에 그분께서 자신의 독생자를 주셨으니, 누구든지 그를 믿는 자는 멸망하지 않고 다만 영원한 생명을 얻게 하려 하심이라.

¶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 

5. 예시(example)

요13:15
15 이는 내가 너희에게 한 예시를 남겨 주었기 때문이니, 내가 너희에게 행한 것처럼 너희도 행하게 하려 함이라.

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

 

벧전2:21
21 이는 심지어 너희가 이 일로 부르심을 받았기 때문이니, 그리스도께서도 우리를 위하여 수난을 겪으시어 우리에게 본보기를 남기심으로써 너희로 하여금 그분의 발자취들을 따라오도록 하셨기 때문이라.

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

 

6. 위로자(comforter), 진리의 영

요14:16
16 그리고 내가 아버지께 기도하겠노라. 그리하면 그분께서 너희에게 또 다른 위로자를 주시리라. 이로써 그분께서 너희와 함께 영원토록 거하려 하심이니,

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

 

전4:1
1 그렇기에 내가 다시 돌이켜 해 아래에서 행해지는 모든 압제들을 숙고하였도다. 그리하여 압제당한 자들의 눈물들을 보나니, 그들에게는 위로자가 없었노라. 그리고 그들의 압제자들 편에는 권세가 있었노라. 그러나 그들에게는 위로자가 없었노라.

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

시23:4
4 진정 제가 사망의 그림자의 골짜기를 통과하여 걸을지라도 저는 어떤 악도 두려워하지 아니하겠나이다. 이는 당신께서 저와 함께 계시기 때문이니이다. 당신의 막대기와 당신의 지팡이, 그것들이 저를 위로하나이다.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

 

7. 평안(peace)

요14:27
27 내가 너희에게 평안을 남겨 두나니, 곧 내가 너희에게 주는 나의 평안이라. 내가 너희에게 세상이 주는 것과 같지 않은 평안을 주노라. 너희의 마음이 근심하지 않게 하고 그 마음이 무서워하지도 않게 하라.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

 

빌4:6-7
6 아무 일에도 염려로 가득차지 말라. 다만 매사에 기도와 간구로 감사들을 드리면서 너희의 요청들이 하나님께 알려지게 하라.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 그리하면 모든 지각을 초월하는, 하나님의 평안이 그리스도 예수를 통하여 너희의 마음과 생각을 지키시리라.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

 

8. 말씀들(words of the Father)

요17:8, 14
8 이는 제가 당신께서 제게 주신 말씀들을 그들에게 주었기 때문이니이다. 그리고 그들이 그것들을 받아들였고, 제가 당신께로부터 나왔음을 확실히 알았으며, 그들이 당신께서 저를 보내신 것을 믿었나이다.

For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

14 제가 그들에게 당신의 말씀을 주었나이다. 그러자 세상이 그들을 증오하였나이다. 이는 바로 제가 세상에 속하지 아니한 것같이 그들도 세상에 속하지 아니한 까닭이니이다.

I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

마24:35
35 하늘과 땅은 없어질 것이나, 나의 말들은 없어지지 아니하리라.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
 

9. 영광(glory)

요17:22
22 그리하여 당신께서 제게 주신 영광을 제가 그들에게 주었나이다. 이로써 우리가 하나인 것같이 그들도 하나가 되게 하려는 것이옵니다.

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

 롬3:23
23 이는 모든 사람이 죄를 지었기 때문에 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못하다가

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

 골1:27
27 하나님께서는 이 신비의 영광의 부요함이 무엇인지를 이방인들 사이에서 성도들에게 알리기를 바라시느니라. 이 신비는 너희 안에 계신 그리스도, 곧 영광의 소망이시라.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
 

이 소중한 선물을 주신 주님을 기억하시기 바랍니다.
