[본문] 욥26:1-4
1그러나 욥이 응답하여 이르되,
1But Job answered and said,
2권세 없는 자를 네가 어떻게 도왔느냐? 기력 없는 팔을 네가 어떻게 구원하느냐?
2How hast thou helped [him that is] without power? [how] savest thou the arm [that hath] no strength?
3지혜 없는 자에게 네가 어떻게 조언하였느냐? 또 어떻게 사실을 있는 그대로 많이 전하였느냐?
3How hast thou counselled [him that hath] no wisdom? and [how] hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it
is?
4네가 누구에게 말을 하였느냐? 누구의 영이 네게서 나왔느냐?
4To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
예수 그리스도께서 우리의 죄를 짊어지고 심판을 받으시고 부활하셨습니다. 그렇기에 우리는 크고 흰 왕좌 심판대 앞에 설 필요는 없습니다.
그러나 그리스도의 심판석(롬14:10, 고전3:12-15, 고후5:10) 앞에 서게 되며 거기서 ‘보상’에 관한 심판을 받게 됩니다.
그리스도의 심판석에서 주님께서는 우리에게 질문을 하실 것입니다. 욥기를 통해 우리는 주님께서 우리에게 어떤 질문을 우리에게 하실지 미리 살펴보고자 합니다.
1. 권세(power) 없는 자를 네가 어떻게(how) 도왔느냐?
① 전4:1
1그러므로 내가 돌이켜 해 아래에서 이루어진 모든 학대를 깊이 살펴보았노니, 보라, 학대받는 자들의 눈물이라. 그들에게는 위로자가 없었도다. 그들을 학대하는 자들의 편에는 권세가 있었으나 그들에게는 위로자가 없었도다.
1So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of [such as were] oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors [there was] power; but they had no comforter.
② 약1:26, 27
26너희 가운데 어떤 사람이 신앙심이 있어 보이되 자기 혀를 제어하지 아니하고 자기 마음을 속이면 이 사람의 신앙 행위는 헛것이니라.
26If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion [is] vain.
27[하나님] 곧 [아버지] 앞에서 순수하고 더럽지 않은 신앙 행위는 이것이니 즉 고난 중에 있는 아버지 없는 자들과 과부들을 돌아보고 세상으로부터 자기를 지켜 더럽혀지지 아니하는 것이니라.
27Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.
2. 기력(Strength) 없는 팔을 네가 어떻게(how) 구원하느냐?
① 롬5:6
6우리가 아직 힘이 없을 때에 그리스도께서 정하신 때가 되어 경건치 아니한 자들을 위해 죽으셨느니라.
6For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
② 행9:40, 41
40베드로가 그들을 다 내보내고 무릎을 꿇고 기도하고는 돌아서서 그 몸을 향해 이르되, 다비다야, 일어나라, 하매 그녀가 눈을 떠 베드로를 보고 일어나 앉으니라.
40But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning [him] to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
41그가 그녀에게 손을 내밀어 그녀를 일으켜 세우고 성도들과 과부들을 불러 살아 있는 그녀를 보여 주니
41And he gave her [his] hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.
3. 지혜(wisdom) 없는 자에게 네가 어떻게(how) 조언하였느냐?
① 시14:1, 53:1
1(악장에게 준 다윗의 시) 어리석은 자가 마음속으로 이르기를, [하나님]은 없다, 하였도다. 그들은 부패하여 가증한 일들을 행하였으니 선을 행하는 자가 하나도 없도다.
1<<To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David.>> The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.
1(마할랏에 맞추어 악장에게 준 마스길, 다윗의 시) 어리석은 자가 마음속으로 이르기를, [하나님]
은 없다, 하였도다. 그들은 부패하여 가증한 불법을 행하였으니 선을 행하는 자가 하나도 없도다.

② 롬1:22
22그들은 스스로 지혜롭다고 선언하나 어리석은 자가 되어
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
4. 어떻게(how) 사실을 있는 그대로 많이 전하였느냐?
① 행20:20, 27
20너희에게 유익한 것은 어떤 것도 숨기지 아니하고 너희에게 보여 주며 공중 앞에서 또 집에서 집으로 다니며 너희를 가르치고
20[And] how I kept back nothing that was profitable [unto you], but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
27이는 내가 지금까지 회피하지 아니하고 [하나님]의 모든 계획을 너희에게 밝히 말하였기 때문
이라.
27For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
② 엡4:15
15오직 사랑 안에서 진리를 말하며 모든 일에서 그분 안에 이르도록 성장하게 하려 함이라. 그분은 머리시니 곧 그리스도시니라.
15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:
5. 네가 누구(whom)에게 말을 전하였느냐?
① 롬1:14
14나는 그리스인이나 바바리인이나 지혜 있는 자나 지혜 없는 자에게 다 빚진 자니라.
14I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
② 행9:15
15그러나 [주]께서 그에게 이르시되, 네 길로 가라. 그는 이방인들과 왕들과 이스라엘 자손 앞에 내 이름을 전하기 위해 내가 택한 그릇이니라.
15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
6. 누구의 영(whose spirit)이 네게서 나왔느냐?
① 갈3:5
5그런즉 너희에게 성령을 제공해 주시고 너희 가운데서 기적들을 행하시는 그분께서 그것을 율법의 행위로 하시느냐, 믿음에 관하여 들음으로 하시느냐?
5He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, [doeth he it] by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
② 계16:13
13또 내가 보매 개구리 같은 부정한 영 셋이 용의 입과 짐승의 입과 거짓 대언자의 입에서 나오더라.
13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
③ 고전2:11
11사람의 것들을 사람의 속에 있는 사람의 영 외에 어느 누가 알리요? 이와 같이 [하나님]의 것들도 [하나님]의 [영] 외에는 아무도 알지 못하느니라.
11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
