“Let us …” (우리 … 합시다)

1그러므로 우리가 그리스도의 교리의 기초 원리들을 떠나 완전함으로 나아가서 죽은 행위들로부터의 회개와 [하나님]을 향한 믿음과
1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
성경에서 히브리서는 ‘하나님 (God)’으로 시작하는 유일한 책입니다.
유대인 출신 그리스도인을 중심 독자로 하여 쓴 서신으로 즉 ‘믿은 사람’에게 쓴 책입니다.
히브리서의 배경은 ‘그리스도의 심판석’입니다.
히브리서는 하늘의 부르심에 응답했던 사람들에게 던지는 도전이라고 할 수 있습니다. “우리 … 합시다 (Let us …) 라는 격려의 말씀에 반응하는 올 한 해가 되기를 원합니다.
1. 그러므로 두려워하자 (Let us therefore fear)
히4:1
1그러므로 우리는 두려워할지니 그분의 안식에 들어갈 약속이 우리에게 남아 있을지라도 너희 중의 어떤 사람이 거기에 이르지 못할까 염려하노라.
1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left [us] of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2. 그러므로 저 안식에 들어가도록 힘쓰자 (Let us labour)
히4:11
11그러므로 우리가 저 안식에 들어가도록 힘쓸지니 이것은 아무도 그 믿지 아니하던 동일한 본을 따라 넘어지지 아니하게 하려 함이라.
11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
3. 그런즉 우리의 신앙고백을 굳게 붙들자 (Let us hold fast)
히4:14
14그런즉 우리에게, 위대하신 대제사장 곧 하늘들로 들어가신 [하나님]의 [아들] 예수님이 계신 줄 알므로 우리가 우리의 신앙 고백을 굳게 붙들자.
14Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.
4. 그러므로 은혜의 왕좌로 담대히 가자 (Let us therefore come boldly)
히4:16
16그러므로 우리가 긍휼을 얻고 필요한 때에 도우시는 은혜를 얻기 위해 은혜의 왕좌로 담대히 갈 것이니라.
16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
5. 그러므로 완전함으로 나아가자 (Let us go on unto perfection)
히6:1
1그러므로 우리가 그리스도의 교리의 기초 원리들을 떠나 완전함으로 나아가서 죽은 행위들로부터의 회개와 [하나님]을 향한 믿음과
1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
6. 믿음의 충만한 확신 속에서 진실한 마음으로 가까이 다가가자 (Let us draw near)
히10:22
22우리 마음이 뿌림을 받아 악한 양심으로부터 벗어났고 우리 몸은 순수한 물로 씻겼으니 우리가 믿음의 충만한 확신 속에서 진실한 마음으로 가까이 다가가자.
22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
7. 우리의 믿음의 고백을 흔들림 없이 굳게 잡자 (Let us hold fast the profession of our faith)
히10:23
23(약속하신 분께서 신실하시니) 우리의 믿음의 고백을 흔들림 없이 굳게 잡고
23Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;)
8. 서로를 살펴보자 (사랑과 선한 행위에 이르도록) (Let us consider one another)
히10:24
24서로를 살펴보아 사랑과 선한 행위에 이르도록 격려하며
24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
9. 모든 무거운 것과 … 죄를 떨쳐 버리자 (Let us lay aside)
히12:1
1그러므로 증인들이 이렇게 큰 구름을 이루며 또한 우리를 둘러싸고 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 너무 쉽게 우리를 얽어매는 죄를 우리가 떨쳐 버리고 인내로 우리 앞에 놓인 경주를 달리며
1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
9. 모든 무거운 것과 … 죄를 떨쳐버리자
히12:1
1그러므로 증인들이 이렇게 큰 구름을 이루며 또한 우리를 둘러싸고 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 너무 쉽게 우리를 얽어매는 죄를 우리가 떨쳐 버리고 인내로 우리 앞에 놓인 경주를 달리며
1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
10. 인내로 우리 앞에 놓은 경주를 달리자 (Let us run)
히12:1
1그러므로 증인들이 이렇게 큰 구름을 이루며 또한 우리를 둘러싸고 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 너무 쉽게 우리를 얽어매는 죄를 우리가 떨쳐 버리고 인내로 우리 앞에 놓인 경주를 달리며

11. 그러므로 은혜를 소유하자 (Let us have grace)
히12:28
28그러므로 우리가 움직일 수 없는 왕국을 받을진대 은혜를 소유하자. 이 은혜를 힘입어 우리가 공경하는 마음과 하나님께 속한 두려움을 가지고 받으실 만하게 [하나님]을 섬길지니
28Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
12. 그런즉 진영 밖에서 그분께로 나아가자 (Let us go forth)
히13:13
13그런즉 우리가 그분의 치욕을 짊어지고 진영 밖에 계신 그분께로 나아가자.
13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
13. 그러므로 계속해서 찬양의 희생을 하나님께 드리자 (let us offer)
히13:15
15그러므로 우리가 그분으로 말미암아 계속해서 찬양의 희생을 [하나님]께 드리자. 그것은 곧 그분의 이름에 감사를 드리는 우리 입술의 열매니라.
15By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.
