‘로마서’에 계시된 부활

오늘은 기독교계에서 소위 ‘부활절’(Easter) 이라고 부르는 날입니다. 
‘부활’이란 말이 성경에 나오는 용어이다 보니 마치 성경을 바탕에 둔 날인 것 같지만, 실은 바빌론 신비종교에서 섬기는 시돈의 여신 아스다롯(Ashtoreth, 왕상 11:5)을 기념하는 날입니다. 엄밀히 말하자면 부활절이 아니라 ‘이스터’라고 부르는 것이 맞습니다.

5이는 솔로몬이 시돈 사람들의 여신 아스다롯을 따르고 암몬 족속의 가증한 신 밀곰을 따랐기 때문이라.
5For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

초기 교회시대에는 없던 이 누룩은 버가모 시대(AD 325-500)에 들어와 주님의 몸 된 교회 안으로 침투했습니다. 부활절을 지키고 있는 사람 중에는 이 사실을 알지 못하는 사람도 많습니다. 그러나 우리는 이 지식이 있다고 해서 무지한 사람들을 판단(비난)하거나 우쭐대면  안 됩니다.(고전 8:1) 
오히려 이런 기회를 활용하여 복음의 핵심요소인 부활을 공부하는 편이 좋을 것입니다. 

 

부활 자체는 역사적 사실입니다. 세상의 역사학자·법률가들은 이 사복음서의 기록을 철저히 ‘과학적’ 방법으로 조사했습니다. 그 결과 예수님의 부활은 분명히 발생한 역사적 사건임이 입증되었습니다. 물론 그런 조사에 의존하지 않고도 우리는 성경이 말씀하시는 대로 ‘예수님께서 부활 후 자신의 살아 계심을 절대 확실(무오)한 많은 증거들로 보여 주셨다’는 말씀만으로 충분합니다. 

 

다만 우리의 관심은 이 부활이 갖는 참된 의미일 것입니다. 
주님의 도움에 힘입어 부활에 관해 살펴 보겠습니다. 

 

1. 부활은 예수님의 처녀 탄생과 신성을 입증합니다
① 롬 1:3, 4
3자신의 [아들] 예수 그리스도 우리 [주]에 관한 것이라. 그분께서는 육체로는 다윗의 씨에서 나셨고
3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4거룩함의 영으로는 죽은 자들로부터 부활하심으로써 [하나님]의 [아들]로 권능 있게 밝히 드러나셨느니라.
4And declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

② 요 10:17,18 
17이러므로 내 [아버지]께서 나를 사랑하시나니 이는 내가 내 생명을 다시 취하려고 그것을 내놓기 때문이라.
17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18아무도 그것을 내게서 빼앗지 아니하며 내가 스스로 그것을 버리노라. 내게는 그것을 버릴 권능도 있고 그것을 다시 취할 권능도 있노라. 나는 이 명령을 내 [아버지]에게서 받았느니라, 하시니라.
18No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

 

③ 행 2:22-36
22너희 이스라엘 사람들아, 이 말들을 들으라. 너희 자신도 아는 바와 같이 [하나님]께서 나사렛 예수님을 통하여 기적들과 이적들과 표적들을 너희 한가운데서 행하사 그분을 너희 가운데서 [하나님]의 인정받은 사람으로 삼으셨느니라.
22Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23그분께서 [하나님]의 정하신 계획과 미리 아심을 통하여 넘겨지매 너희가 그분을 붙잡아 사악한 손으로 십자가에 못 박아 죽였으나
23Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24[하나님]께서 그분을 사망의 고통에서 풀어 일으키셨으니 이는 사망이 그분을 붙들 수 없었기 때문이라.
24Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25다윗이 그분에 관하여 말하되, 내가 항상 내 얼굴 앞에 계신 [주]를 미리 보았나니 그분께서 내 오른편에 계시므로 내가 흔들리지 아니하리로다.
25For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26이러므로 내 마음이 기뻐하고 내 혀도 즐거워하였으며 더욱이 내 육체도 소망 중에 안식하리니
26Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27이는 주께서 내 혼을 지옥에 남겨 두지 아니하시고 주의 [거룩한 자]가 썩음을 보지 아니하게 하실 것이기 때문이니이다.
27Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28주께서 생명의 길들을 내게 알려 주셨으니 주의 얼굴로 내게 기쁨이 충만하게 하시리이다, 하느니라.
28Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29사람들아 형제들아, 내가 족장 다윗에 대하여 거리낌 없이 너희에게 말하노니 그는 죽어서 묻혔고 그의 돌무덤은 이 날까지 우리와 함께 있도다.
29Men [and] brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30그런즉 그는 대언자이므로 [하나님]께서 이미 자기에게 서약으로 맹세하사 육체에 따라 자기 허리의 열매에서 그리스도를 일으켜서 자기 왕좌에 앉히실 것을 알았고
30Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31또 이것을 미리 보았으므로 그리스도의 부활에 대하여 말하기를, 그의 혼이 지옥에 남겨지지 아니하였고 그의 육체도 썩음을 보지 아니하였느니라, 하였느니라.
31He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32이 예수님을 [하나님]께서 일으키셨으며 우리는 다 그 일에 증인이로다.
32This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33그러므로 그분께서 [하나님]의 오른손에 의해 높여지시고 [아버지]에게서 [성령님]을 약속으로 받아서 너희가 지금 보고 듣는 이것을 부어 주셨느니라.
33Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34다윗은 하늘들로 올라가지 아니하였으나 친히 이르되, {주}께서 내 [주]께 말씀하시기를,
34For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35내가 네 원수들을 네 발받침으로 삼을 때까지 너는 내 오른편에 앉아 있으라, 하셨도다, 하느니라.
35Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36그런즉 이스라엘의 온 집은 확실히 알지니 너희가 십자가에 못 박은 그 동일한 예수님을 [하나님]께서 [주]와 그리스도로 삼으셨느니라, 하니라.
36Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 

 

2. 부활은 마음으로 믿어야 구원을 받게 됩니다

① 롬 10:9, 10 
9네가 만일 네 입으로 [주] 예수님을 시인하고 [하나님]께서 그분을 죽은 자들로부터 살리신 것을 네 마음속으로 믿으면 구원을 받으리니
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

② 고전 15:1-8
1또한 형제들아, 내가 너희에게 선포한 복음을 너희에게 밝히 알리노니 너희 역시 그 복음을 받았으며 또 그 가운데 서 있느니라.
1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2너희가 만일 내가 너희에게 선포한 것을 기억하고 헛되이 믿지 아니하였으면 또한 그 복음으로 구원을 받았느니라.
2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3내가 또한 받은 것을 무엇보다 먼저 너희에게 전하였노니 그것은 곧 성경 기록대로 그리스도께서 우리의 죄들로 인하여 죽으시고
3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4묻히셨다가 성경 기록대로 셋째 날에 다시 살아나시고
4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5게바에게 보이시고 다음에 열두 제자에게 보이셨다는 것이라.
5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6그 뒤에 그분께서 오백여 형제에게 한 번에 보이셨는데 그중의 대다수는 지금 이때까지 남아 있고 어떤 사람들은 잠들었느니라.
6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7그 뒤에 그분께서 야고보에게 보이시고 다음에 모든 사도에게 보이셨으며
7After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8맨 마지막에는 정한 때를 벗어나서 태어난 자 같은 내게도 보이셨나니
8And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

③ 행 4:33
33사도들이 큰 권능으로 [주] 예수님의 부활을 증언하매 큰 은혜가 그들 모두에게 임하니라.
33And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

 

3. 부활은 우리의 칭의의 근거입니다

① 롬 4:25 
25그분께서는 우리의 범죄로 인하여 넘겨지셨으며 우리의 칭의를 위하여 다시 일으켜지셨느니라.
25Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

② 롬 8:33, 34 
33누가 [하나님]께서 선택하신 자들을 무슨 일로 고소하리요? 의롭다 하시는 분은 [하나님]이시니
33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth.
34누가 정죄하리요? 죽으신 분은 그리스도시요, 참으로 다시 일어나신 분도 그리스도시니 그분께서는 바로 [하나님]의 오른편에 계시며 또한 우리를 위해 중보하시느니라.
34Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

③ 고전 15:17-19
17또 그리스도께서 일으켜지지 아니하셨으면 너희의 믿음이 헛되고 너희가 여전히 너희 죄들 가운데 있으며
17And if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18따라서 그리스도 안에서 잠든 자들도 멸망하였느니라.
18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19만일 우리가 이 세상 삶을 사는 동안에만 그리스도 안에서 소망을 갖는다면 모든 사람들 중에 우리가 가장 비참한 자니라.
19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

 

4. 부활은 우리의 부활의 보증입니다

① 롬 6:5, 8 
5만일 우리가 그분의 죽음과 같은 모양으로 함께 심겼으면 또한 그분의 부활과 같은 모양으로 되리라.
5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection:
6우리가 이것을 알거니와 우리의 옛 사람이 그분과 함께 십자가에 못 박힌 것은 죄의 몸을 멸하여 이제부터는 우리가 죄를 섬기지 아니하게 하려 함이니
6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7죽은 자는 죄로부터 해방되었느니라.
7For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8만일 이제 우리가 그리스도와 함께 죽었으면 또한 그분과 함께 살 줄을 믿노니
8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

② 고전 15:20-22
20그러나 이제 그리스도께서 죽은 자들로부터 일어나사 잠든 자들의 첫 열매가 되셨도다.
20But now is Christ risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21사망이 사람을 통해 임한 것 같이 죽은 자들의 부활도 사람을 통해 임하였나니
21For since by man [came] death, by man [came] also the resurrection of the dead.
22아담 안에서 모든 사람이 죽는 것 같이 그리스도 안에서 모든 사람이 살게 되리라.
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

 

5. 부활은 우리로 주님의 신부가 되게 해 줍니다

① 롬 7:3, 4 
3그런즉 만일 그녀가 자기 남편이 살아 있을 때에 다른 남자와 결혼하면 간부(姦婦)라 불릴 터이나 그녀의 남편이 죽으면 그녀가 그 법에서 해방되나니 그러므로 그녀가 다른 남자와 결혼할지라도 간부가 되지 아니하느니라.
3So then if, while [her] husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
4그러므로 내 형제들아, 너희도 그리스도의 몸으로 말미암아 율법에 대하여 죽게 되었나니 이것은 너희가 다른 분 곧 죽은 자들로부터 일으켜지신 분과 결혼하게 하려 함이요, 또 우리가 [하나님]께 이르는 열매를 맺게 하려 함이라.
4Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, [even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

② 고후11:2
2내가 하나님께 속한 질투로 너희에 대하여 질투하노니 이는 내가 너희를 순결한 한 처녀로 그리스도께 드리기 위해 한 남편에게 너희를 정혼시켰기 때문이라.
2For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present [you as] a chaste virgin to Christ.

 

6. 부활하신 주님은 우리의 주님이십니다

① 롬 14:7-9
7우리 중에 아무도 자기를 위해 살지 아니하고 또 아무도 자기를 위해 죽지 아니하는도다.
7For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8우리가 살아도 [주]를 위해 살고 죽어도 [주]를 위해 죽나니 그러므로 살든지 죽든지 우리가 [주]의 것이로다.
8For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
9이 목적을 위해 그리스도께서 죽으시고 일어나사 다시 살아나셨으니 이것은 그분께서 죽은 자와 산 자의 [주]가 되려 하심이라.
9For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

② 행 2:36
36그런즉 이스라엘의 온 집은 확실히 알지니 너희가 십자가에 못 박은 그 동일한 예수님을 [하나님]께서 [주]와 그리스도로 삼으셨느니라, 하니라.
36Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

③ 고전 6:19, 20
19도대체 무슨 말이냐? 너희 몸이 너희가 [하나님]에게서 받은바 너희 안에 계신 [성령님]의 전인 줄을 너희가 알지 못하느냐? 너희는 너희 자신의 것이 아니니
19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20주께서 값을 치르고 너희를 사셨느니라. 그런즉 [하나님]의 것인 너희 몸과 너희 영으로 [하나님]께 영광을 돌리라.
20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

 

부활하신 주님께서 우리에게 약속대로 성령님을 주셨습니다. 이 성령님을 통해 우리가 주님과 고난의 교제 가운데 머물러 그분의 죽음에 일치할 때 놀라운 부활의 권능을 발휘할 수 있고 이를 통해 하나님께서 영광을 받으시게 됩니다.(빌 3:10, 11)

10이것은 내가 그분의 죽으심과 일치하게 되어 그분과 그분의 부활의 권능과 그분의 고난에 참여하는 것을 알고자 함이요,
10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11어찌하든지 내가 죽은 자들의 부활에 도달하려 함이라.
11If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
