낮아지신 예수 그리스도

[본문] 빌 2:1-11
1그러므로 그리스도 안에서 무슨 안위나 사랑의 무슨 위로나 성령의 무슨 교제나 무슨 인정이나 긍휼이 있거든
1If [there be] therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2너희는 같은 생각을 품고 같은 사랑을 가지며 한 마음과 한 생각이 되어 내 기쁨을 성취하라.
2Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.
3어떤 일도 다툼이나 헛된 영광으로 하지 말고 오직 겸손한 생각으로 각각 자기보다 남을 더 낫게 여기며
3[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4각 사람이 자기 일들만 돌아보지 말고 각 사람이 남의 일들도 돌아보라.
4Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5너희 안에 이 생각을 품을지니 그것은 그리스도 예수님 안에도 있던 생각이라.
5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6그분은 [하나님]의 형체로 계시므로 [하나님]과 동등함을 강탈로 여기지 아니하셨으나
6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7스스로 무명한 자가 되사 자기 위에 종의 형체를 취하시고 사람들의 모습이 되셨으며
7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8사람의 모양으로 나타나사 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 순종하셨으니 곧 십자가의 죽음이라.
8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9그러므로 [하나님]께서도 그분을 높이 올리시고 모든 이름 위에 있는 이름을 그분에게 주사
9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10하늘에 있는 것들과 땅에 있는 것들과 땅 아래 있는 것들의 모든 무릎이 예수라는 이름에 굴복하게 하시고
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;
11또 모든 혀가 예수 그리스도는 [주]시라고 시인하여 [하나님] [아버지]께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라.
11And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

 

그리스도인의 영성(spirituality)에서 중심이 되는 구절이 바로 이 말씀입니다.

주님께서 우리에게 주신 생각(mind, 고전 2:16)은 다음의 일곱 단계로 낮아지신 주님을 통해 확인해 볼 수 있습니다.

 

위에 계신 하나님뿐 아니라 옆에 있는 사람들에게도 이 마음자세로 대할 때 우리는 주님께 영광을 돌릴 수 있습니다. (고전 10:31)

 

 

 

예수님은 창조주시요 전능하신 하나님이시지만 자신을 낮추시고 죄인들을 섬기셨습니다.

 

예수님은 : 

 

1. 스스로 무명한 자가 되셨습니다 (7절)

4. 사람의 모양(fashion)으로 나타나셨습니다.(8절)
8사람의 모양으로 나타나사 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 순종하셨으니 곧 십자가의 죽음이라.

히4:15-16
15우리에게 계신 대제사장은 우리의 연약함의 감정을 몸소 느끼지 못하시는 분이 아니요 모든 점에서 우리와 똑같이 시험을 받으셨으되 죄는 없으신 분이시니라.
15For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.
16그러므로 우리가 긍휼을 얻고 필요한 때에 도우시는 은혜를 얻기 위해 은혜의 왕좌로 담대히 갈 것이니라.
16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

 

롬3:10-18
10이것은 기록된바, 의로운 자는 없나니 단 한 사람도 없으며
10As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11깨닫는 자도 없고 [하나님]을 찾는 자도 없으며
11There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12그들이 다 길에서 벗어나 함께 무익하게 되고 선을 행하는 자가 없나니 단 한 사람도 없도다.
12They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13그들의 목구멍은 열린 돌무덤이라. 그들이 자기 혀로 속임수를 쓰나니 그들의 입술 밑에는 독사의 독이 있고
13Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips:
14그들의 입은 저주와 쓴 것으로 가득하며
14Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness:
15그들의 발은 피 흘리는 데 빠르므로
15Their feet [are] swift to shed blood:
16파멸과 고통이 그들의 길에 있어
16Destruction and misery [are] in their ways:
17그들이 화평의 길을 알지 못하였고
17And the way of peace have they not known:
18그들의 눈앞에는 [하나님]을 두려워함이 없느니라, 함과 같으니라.

 

5. 자기를 낮추셨습니다(8절)
8사람의 모양으로 나타나사 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 순종하셨으니 곧 십자가의 죽음이라.

7. 이 죽음은 십자가(고통과 수치를 동반한 저주)의 죽음이었습니다 (8절)
8사람의 모양으로 나타나사 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 순종하셨으니 곧 십자가의 죽음이라.

히5:7-9
7그분께서는 친히 육체로 거하던 때에 자기를 사망으로부터 능히 구원하실 분에게 강렬한 부르짖음과 눈물로 기도와 간구를 드리셨고 또 친히 두려워하셨으므로 하나님께서 들으셨느니라.
7Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
8그분께서 [아들]이실지라도 친히 고난 받으신 일들로 말미암아 순종하기를 배우사
8Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9완전하게 되셨으므로 자기에게 순종하는 모든 사람들에게 영원한 구원의 창시자가 되시고
9And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

성경에서 ‘완전’이라는 말은 결점이 없다는 뜻이 아니다. 완성된다는 뜻이다. 하나님께서는 딱 한 가지 완료하지 않으셨다. 인간이 되어서 인간을 체험하지는 않으신 것이다. 그것을 하심으로써 ‘완전’해지셨다. 

 

히2:18 
18그분께서 친히 시험을 받아 고난을 당하셨은즉 시험받는 자들을 능히 구조하실 수 있느니라.
18For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

히13:12-13
12그러므로 예수님께서도 친히 자신의 피로 백성을 거룩히 구별하시려고 성문 밖에서 고난을 당하셨느니라.
12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13그런즉 우리가 그분의 치욕을 짊어지고 진영 밖에 계신 그분께로 나아가자.
13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
