사도(Apostle), 예수 그리스도

십자가를 앞에 두고 하나님께 제사장적 중보기도를 드리신 주님(요17장)께서는 이 기도 안에 “하나님께서 자신을 보내셨다”는 사실을 여러번 반복해 언급하십니다(3, 8, 18, 21, 23, 25절).

 

또한 우리 그리스도인들은 하나님의 자녀로써 하나님께서 예수님을 보내신 것을 알고 있다고 여러번 강조하십니다. 

 

주께서는 기도 말미에 아버지께서 자신을 보내신 것처럼 우리도 세상에 보내신다고 말씀하십니다(18절, 요20:21, 고후5:20). 오늘은 보내심을 받으신분 즉 사도(Apostle, 히 3:1)이신 주님을 기억하고자 합니다.

 

1. 세상을 구원하려
요3:17(눅9:56)
17[하나님]께서 자신의 [아들]을 세상에 보내신 것은 세상을 정죄하려 하심이 아니요, 그를 통해 세상을 구원하려 하심이라.
17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

 

눅9:56
56사람의 [아들]은 사람들의 생명을 멸하러 오지 아니하고 구원하러 왔느니라, 하시니라. 그들이 다른 마을로 가니라.
56For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save [them]. And they went to another village.

 

요일4:14
14[아버지]께서 [아들]을 세상의 [구원자]로 보내신 것을 우리가 보았고 증언하노니
14And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son [to be] the Saviour of the world.

딤전1:15
15이것은 신실한 말이요 온전히 받아들이기에 합당한 말이니 곧 그리스도 예수님께서 죄인들을 구원하시려고 세상에 오셨다는 말이로다. 죄인들 중에 내가 우두머리니라.
15This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

 

2. 하나님의 말씀을 말하시고자
요3:34
34[하나님]께서 보내신 분은 [하나님]의 말씀들을 말하나니 이는 [하나님]께서 그분에게 성령을 한량없이 주시기 때문이라.
34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him].

 

17:8
8나는 아버지께서 내게 주신 말씀들을 그들에게 주었사오며 그들은 그것들을 받고 내가 아버지로부터 나온 줄을 확실히 아오며 또 아버지께서 나를 보내신 줄도 믿었나이다.
8For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

 

3. 하나님의 뜻을 행하시고자
요4:34(히10:6)
34예수님께서 그들에게 이르시되, 내 양식은 나를 보내신 분의 뜻을 행하고 그분의 일을 끝마치는 것이니라.
34Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

 

히10:6 
6죄로 인한 번제 헌물과 희생물들은 주께서 기뻐하지 아니하시나이다.
6In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

 

4. 영존하는 생명을 주시고자
요5:24(요17:3, 요일4:9)
24진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 내 말을 듣고 또 나를 보내신 분을 믿는 자는 영존하는 생명이 있고 또 정죄에 이르지 아니하리니 사망에서 생명으로 옮겨졌느니라.
24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

 

요17:3 
3영생은 이것이니 곧 그들이 유일하신 참 [하나님]인 아버지와 아버지께서 보내신 자 예수 그리스도를 아는 것이니이다.
3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

 

요일4:9 
9[하나님]께서 자신의 독생자를 세상에 보내사 우리가 그분을 통해 살게 하셨은즉 이것 안에서 [하나님]의 사랑이 우리를 향해 나타났느니라.
9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

 

5. 아버지의 교리를 가르치고자
요7:16(요18:37, 딤후3:16)
16예수님께서 그들에게 대답하여 이르시되, 내 교리는 내 것이 아니요 나를 보내신 분의 것이니라.
16Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

 

요18:37
37그러므로 빌라도가 그분께 이르되, 그러면 네가 왕이냐? 하니 예수님께서 대답하시되, 내가 왕이라고 네가 말하는도다. 내가 이런 목적으로 태어났으며 이런 까닭으로 세상에 왔나니 곧 나는 진리에 대하여 증언하려 하노라. 진리에 속한 자마다 내 음성을 듣느니라, 하시매
37Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

딤후3:16 
16모든 성경 기록은 [하나님]의 영감으로 주신 것으로 교리와 책망과 바로잡음과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니
16All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

 

6. 아버지의 일을 하시고자
요9:4(요17:4)
4낮일 때에 내가 반드시 나를 보내신 분의 일들을 하여야 하리라. 밤이 오면 그때는 아무도 일할 수 없느니라.
4I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

 

요17:4 
4내가 아버지를 땅에서 영화롭게 하였사오니 곧 내가 아버지께서 내게 하라고 주신 일을 끝마쳤나이다.
4I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
